Daily Horoscope for Scorpio Summary

This weekend marks the 20th anniversary of an event that is so well known it is talked about only as a number. 911. Spend a moment today in gratitude for all the blessings you have received since that day and say a prayer for all who were tragically affected by it.

The other night I had several dreams about a butterfly. I kept saying aloud, there is a Monarch butterfly! As if to impress myself that I had seen it. Now I know that butterflies are a symbol of transformation. But why did I keep saying it is a Monarch butterfly?

It turns out Monarch butterflies follow a pattern of migration that leads them into the unknown. They fly forward not knowing where they are going and fully trusting that when their journey ends, another generation will pick up where they left off.

By instinct, each generation moves the entire species forward with every short migration phase, leading to the super generation that will reach its destination. The selfless act of the generations before the super generation blindly take action not knowing where they are going but having faith that it is what they are supposed to do.

Our own spiritual journey is a lot like this migration. This pattern can be seen in our one lifetime, our many lifetimes, and the lifetimes of our ancestors. Actually, we are all monarch butterflies that are moving further on a spiritual journey, having faith that each step is right for us. We do not know what the final outcome will be. We just keep trusting that it is what we are supposed to do.

Just as the monarch butterfly follows the light of the sun, we follow our own inner guidance and spiritual calling. When we are on the right path, we just know that it is what we are supposed to do. And when we veer off course, we feel depressed, lost, and disconnected from ourselves. As we keep moving forward, trusting, we know that eventually we will make it to the super generation stage, where we will be so aligned with our Spirit that we can make awe-inspiring migrations to new places.
