Daily Horoscope for Taurus Summary
Last nite, I went over the University to hear Bill Nye (the science guy) speak... As you can expect, the guy was terrific, funny & brilliant... I liked his inspirational & up-beat manner... But I'll tell ya's... These guys have to be smokin' crack if they think the general population of the USA are going to ride their bikes to 30 t0 50 miles to work fercrissakes... Or buy an electric car that can only go 50 miles or so on a charge... Like he said... We need "better science".
Here's one of my "senior moments"... When I was a kid, there wasn't all the toys & stuff there is today... So we used our ideas & imaginations a lot more... We developed creativity... A cardboard box became a race-car or a fortress or whatever... Now-days, kids have X-Boxes... Playstations... and sit around staring at video screens... They don't know how to fix anything anymore... It's a "throw away world"... (blah blah blah)... There isn't much to challenge & develop their imagination & creativity anymore.
When we were kids, we used to go on "adventures"... We'd go to the railroad tracks & ride freight trains... We did a lot of things (some that I probably shouldn't mention hehe)... We weren't afraid and we weren't pussies... We broke things & we fixed them... If something broke enough, we figured out how to fix it so it didn't break anymore... We played real sports & games... outside... in sunshine & in rain... We got in trouble & we'd go to extremes to help people too if needed.
It doesn't surprise me that so many of the guys we hung out with have risen to some very high positions in science & in business & in life in general... Have people become so scared that they've become too afraid to live... or to take chances... or to try out new ideas?... To resist just being one more who's become part of the "Walking Dead"... Ask yourself if you're livin' large?... Guys like my friend Bob who can not only do just about anything with a computer/network... But also take out & drop an engine in a Jeep in only a couple hours... Know what I mean?...
This is great energy to let the kid inside you go out to play... It's a great time to have the balls to try new ideas... To be willing to be wrong if there's a greater chance you might be right... To say the hell with popular opinion & listen to your own voice inside... (even when that isn't politically correct)... This can be a magical time if you choose to LIVE!!! Re-fueling imagination & creativity should be our top priority at this time in my opinion. Whatever... That's all I got this morning... hehehe... Keep the Faith... Better Days & Higher Love are comin' soon...
