Merc Retro is truly a humbling energy. Each time this “backwards blow” drops into our domains, it finds a way to level the playing fields, forcing all of us to reconsider how we navigate the everyday world. If we were seemingly confident in one area of our lives, adamant in how we govern it, Merc Retro will quickly rebuff and even humiliate us, teaching us yet another lesson--nothing is ever for sure. And once again, the foundation we created and were so proud of all that time ago is now dismantled.

For example, with me, when this energy hits, particularly during the stationary period, I've noticed my short term memory really takes a dive. My recall absolutely sucks. My individual lesson lies in learning how to still function with my mental handicap. This is where “the work” comes into play. We need to learn how to respond and graduate to a higher skill level when presented with this personal obstacles. I’ve learned that I need to carry a pen and paper with me wherever I go. I need to be more organized. And I need to notate everything.

So what is your individual Merc Retro flaw? Pay attention to what pattern keeps creeping up in your life. Do you keep hearing the same words uttered when you’re around? Do you allow for different versions of the same experience to manifest? And if so, how can you combat it and step up your game? Consider maneuvering Merc Retro a survival game of the fittest. Yes, it’s Darwinian. Can you step up to the plate? Can you rise to the occasion?
