Ok Comet Elenin didn't blow us up yet... or cause the polar magnetic fields to shift... or cause major earthquakes... So I guess we're good to go for another 3600 years... Ouch, those darned Mayan's musta been goofin' us... (spoken in my best Ward Cleaver voice)... hehehe... So that means we better get back at it and deal with the Modern Life once again... hehe
Let's get to it...
I learned a lot growing up working in the truck shop with all the old mechanics & service men... A lot of these guys had difficult lives but found ways to overcome... I remember we'd be sitting around at lunch or at break time and I'd say something like... "I'm gonna do this... or I'm gonna do that..." (Blah blah blah)... but these guys wouldn't buy into a second of it... They'd look at you right in the eye and say "Don't let your fear hold you back"... "Rotten Bastards" I used to think as certain ideas were instantly deflated... hehehe... But later on, I really started to "get it"... You can't win if you're not in the game... and if you're not in the game, then you have to settle for whatever scraps might be left afterwards.
Now days, there are all these "do-gooders" out there telling us what to do... blah blah blah... But I think I learned more about Spirituality from those old guys because there was no malice or hidden agenda's in the things they said... It made sense... If you want the car, buy it... If you can't afford it, find a way to earn enough to buy it... If you're not willing to do that, then get out of the way and let others have a go at it... It was "getting out of dream-land" and focusing on the reality of the moment... When someone was hurt or needed help, you didn't wait... You handled it right then and there...
They keep trying to fix the world, but the world isn't broke... It's the people on top of it that are... Science has proven that the mere act of "having faith" has the potential to "change the outcome"... The rules the Spirit operates on are far stronger than anything this world can throw at us... I bought this one internet domain name a few years back for $35 and sold it later on for enough to buy a decent house... Magic & miracles work... But you've got to be in the game... If you put your faith into "man's solutions" then you're limited by the power of man... But with the Spirit, even though everybody said it wouldn't happen... It did... and it does for me every day too in both the little meaningful things as well as in the major things too.
Hundreds & hundreds of emails expressing sympathy for Valerie's death... The services were packed too for this simple woman who's greatest talent was just to be "Mama-Dowd"... The floods of birthday cards I am already getting this morning and it's only 8am... IT ROCKS!!!... It's not what we do, it's all about how we do it... Yeah, the do-gooders can give you all the "rituals and explanations"... But it's really a lot more simple... Do what you do the best that you can and most important of all... Love other people... Help them to shine too... Simple huh?... Even a kid can do it...
Keep the Faith... Better Days & Higher Love are comin' sooon...
