Daily Horoscope for Taurus Summary

Routines are one of the primary forces in life. We learn them at a young age. When we were in school, you show up at roughly the same time every day and you leave at the same time. You take the same classes at the same times each day. You get home and your parents make you do your homework in a similar fashion; maybe right after school, maybe after dinner. You go to college and for good stretches of time you do the same thing; class at the same times over the course of the semester. Then you graduate and you get a job that probably starts at 9 in the morning and you work it until 5 and then you go home. Routine.

However, think of all of the stories you tell others. The things that are humorous, the things that are exciting, or even depressing. The overwhelming majority of these are things that break from your routine. The time I was working at the doctor's office and one of the sales reps came in and told me he crapped himself on the commute in? Not routine. At least I hope it wasn't routine.

The point I'm trying to make is that when you digress from the norm, things get more exciting. There's more stories to tell, life becomes more interesting, and when life becomes more interesting, we tend to enjoy it more. Even the bad occurrences give us something to bitch about to others, which in itself tends to be enjoyable. Today's energy gives us the impulse to look for something different out there. It allows us to slam on the breaks and say, “Look, what I've been doing lately is kind of boring, and it sucks, so I'm not going to do it as much as I used to.” Some people might make the decision that their job isn't fulfilling enough for them anymore, or the regular ways they spend their time needs to be altered, or they don't see enough of certain people, or they see too much of other people. All of it factors in. So the potential for change here is pretty strong. Look to shake things up, particularly if you've fallen into a rut of SSDD. We thrive on novelty, so make sure there's enough in your life. Best of luck.

The Daily Horoscope for Taurus

Certain things tend to drag on and on. Today is a day where you can knock some of them out and put them behind you. Look to complete a long-term project, or at least make enough headway that you can feasibly put it to rest sometime soon. The general mindset you can carry makes it tough to do anything new until the old has been dealt with, so get things out of the way. Until you do, they're always going to linger in the back of your mind.
