Independence Weekend Summary:

What weekend couldn’t be awesome that starts with a complimentary firey light display in the darkening sky? Independence Day Weekend is Here! And as I sit here writing this, I’ve just come in from viewing the fireworks, I haven’t seen them in I don’t know how many years…which made me notice that the so called grand finale wasn’t as grand as I remember from being a kid. There was a lot of the short loud pulsating and incessant fireworks, and the obligatory over-arching flashy display fireworks way over head…but what was missing was a good selection of the interesting mix of “middle of the road” fireworks, maybe they are more run-of-the-mill, but it seemed that without them, the whole effect was somewhat lost. In life it’s the same thing, we’re always looking for the bright and fancy moments, and the low incessant mundane repetive moments of life always make a good impression….but it’s all the other moments that really make up a life. It’s like going on vacation- the best part of the vacation is getting to know you are going to get it, the sweet savoring and anticipation of a thing that, when it actually does arrive, we can only experience, in those moments, we can only BE, this is sweeter the more we have looked forward to it…

The Weekend Energy rolls in with a bit of a personal touch, not only are emotions flying high with this energy, but so is the desire to feel and be connected. This is as much about being seen as giving your best for others to see…the mutual appreciation, when indulged in, can create magic in an instant. There is a bit of a mental edge to this energy that can’t be missed… this is when it will be more difficult to get outside of our own thoughts- and whenw self-centering and letting go and going with the flow and noticing all the energy in movement around us can be pivotal and essential for keeping an even keel right now.

We’ve got the really cool effects of Jupiter acting as a sort of sugar-coating effect (bring on the sweet stuff!) where a little bit of anything good goes a long way---cue up the celebrations! Some really great memories will be made this weekend and some memorable things said- keep your ears peeled and really listen, you could be in for some valuable treats.

The balancing point to this energy is a deepening call to push forward and leave the past in the dust, those who are able to take action now and branch into new territory will likely be rewarded. If you’re whole heart is in it, your golden. Add to this the grand dose of energy form Venus right now, and you’ll notice the fluid movement of expression and heightened emotions. This is when relationships can ,and will, rock into new territory and find new heights. Independence is often valued most when you are committed, savor the moment in whatever capacity it arises!
