Daily Horoscope for Taurus Summary
Ahh... the Monday 'Scope is where I like to stretch out a bit...
Ok, we have Mercury retrograde right now and I'm sure you are feeling the affects of this... It's when communication can go "way out there" and cause us to consider things we normally wouldn't think of... It's the universe's way of helping us to put everything back into perspective... So let's strap on our protective head gear... Slip into the abstract for a while and have some fun...
The oldest known/discovered writings found on good ol' planet Earth so far, has come from the Land of Sumer (Sumeria, modern day Iraq)... They wrote of the history and the creation of the world that is called the "Enuma elish"... Without going into a long history lesson, the basic premise is that there is a very large 10th Planet called Nibiru that in one of it's orbits crashed into a planet called Tiamat that split into 2 planets... One becoming Earth and the other becoming our Moon.
All the other planets of our solar system rotate around the Sun in a counter-clockwise direction... But Nibiru is said to rotate in a clockwise direction in it's 3600 year orbit... So why do I bring this up now?... Well that is because Mercury is retro and it's a cool story... hehe... Ok, seriously... I bring it up because many astronomers and astrologers (me included) believe that this "Planet X" is due to return within the next few years and we may already be seeing/feeling it's effects upon our planet in the weather and global conditions.
Naturally, the general reaction of many is to paint a "doom & gloom" picture of this as many of the past earthly deluges/destructive times has happened in this 3600 year cycle... But many more have occurred with no negative effects too... It sounds a lot like science fiction, but if there was nothing to it, I would doubt that the most expensive observatories have been built in hopes of finding & tracking this planet if it does in fact exist.
"I will live this day as if it's my last"...
To me, that is the core message of what Mercury retrograde is all about... It's the reminder that we only get so many days to be alive here on Earth... That asks the question of: "Why the hell we would want to spend even one of our precious days in a negative or wasteful ways?"... Trackin' with me on this?... Think about it, if this "Bad Boy" from the far reaches of our Solar System was to return and bring about massive changes to earth, would you want to spend your time in conflicts or in competition with others over matters that really don't matter?
Mercury retrograde is a constant reminder to me to "Live Large"... To take chances... To never give up when that feelin' inside is right... To push my creativity & mind to new & higher levels... To love completely with my whole Mind, Heart & Soul... Just because I can... And even if it's not returned!!... Yeah, Nibiru may not even prove to be "real" but the lessons it brings can be extremely valuable!
