This is the case with others, but also in the way you handle your day to day affairs.

The more you can get off your chest, the more you can get other people to understand where you're coming from. This builds more unity and opens doors for others to forgive your missteps. It's when you hide things or are evasive that others are given the opportunity to build resentment or anger once they find out the real deal about things.
