We can tend to look at new, evolving situations with a bit more hope for prosperity and see how what's on the other side beats what we currently have in front of us. It's that mindset that opens up a lot of doors.
At the same time, mindset isn't the whole equation, so you will need to actually take some steps in order to make the most of the current chart. The first one is usually the hardest, but make some commitments to what you want, and once you have, carry on with trying to obtain it. A good mantra is "I'm going to start X today".
