The thoughts in our minds are rarely isolated; it's a network of ideas and memories that constantly evolves as new stimuli are experienced. Certain ideas trigger other ones, and when repeated, pairs can be inexorably linked together. This impacts so much of our day to day, particularly our habits, and it's something we don't often think too much about.

Today's a good day to think about what you're pairing together in a mental sense because certain seeds can be planted right now that form a basis for your future mental make-up. Some ideas can lead to anxieties, and if that's happening, you want to cut those off as much as you can. In other areas, you can train yourself to be more disciplined or that certain urges should be suppressed. Other times, you might look at certain indicators as a sign to be more aggressive, perhaps if you're not initiating interactions with others enough.

In life, happiness and satisfaction are self-defined. We might fall back on a baseline for those things established by others, but the end state of whether we think something turned out "good" or "bad" still falls down to our own unique perspectives on things. So with the energy the way it is now (and it's going to ramp up over the next couple of weeks), when things are "bad", make changes - don't wait them out. When things are "good", reinforce them to keep them going. Remember that the thing about habits and habitual thinking are that they get to the point where they're automatic. You're your own autopilot. Train yourself to stay on solid ground. Best of luck.

There can be a level of pride that goes into the things you accomplish today and at its core, that's not a bad thing. If you do something well, you should be able to talk about it a little bit. Where you really need to be careful though is if you start beating it into the ground. Others can quickly tire of hearing of your exploits, especially if it's repeated over and over again. To maintain your audiences, you'll need to constantly look for new things to talk about and it can be hard to keep up with the pace. If you're running low on material, try listening to what others have to say instead.
