Here we are at the end of 2024! With so many planets retrograde, it is a good time to look back and remember. Or maybe use our selective memories and weed out the things we would rather forget! Just like every year, there has been good and bad. Some people getting way more of one than the other. But we are still here. The world has certainly turned this year. This past week saw more big changes. With Pluto in Capricorn, we will be seeing changes in governments around the world. Change is never good or bad, it just is whatever we make of it. What may be good for some may make others unhappy. It is a matter of perspective.

Whatever may have happened, we have all learned a lot this year! About how power works and about the power of the elite and the power of the small. About thinking that we know how things will turn out and about letting go of how we think things should be. We have learned that what we are presented as the Truth, may not be. It is up to us to discover that for ourselves and do with it what we will. We no longer just repeat what we hear. It is so easy now to do the research and find the truth for ourselves and form our own opinions. If that is what we want. And it seems more and more people do. Even those who were drilling stories repeatedly at us are taking a step back and changing their perspectives a little bit. I am all for people thinking for themselves, no matter what opinion they form. So long as it is theirs.

There is something formlessly created
Born before Heaven and Earth
So silent! So ethereal!
Independent and changeless
Circulating and ceaseless
It can be regarded as the mother of the world

I do not know its name
Identifying it, I call it "Tao"
Forced to describe it, I call it great
Great means passing
Passing means receding
Receding means returning
Therefore the Tao is great
Heaven is great
Earth is great
The sovereign is also great
There are four greats in the universe
And the sovereign occupies one of them
Humans follow the laws of Earth
Earth follows the laws of Heaven
Heaven follows the laws of Tao
Tao follows the laws of nature
