Daily Horoscope for Taurus Summary

The long-term energy is that of pretty significant transitions, and that's nothing new; we've been dealing with it for a while. In the day-to-day aspects of life though, the issues we tend to see are more manageable and broken down. Because it's a long-term cycle though, that means things aren't going to play out all at once, while today's energy might make us wish that it would. The old man likes to use the phrase "hurry up and wait", but this might be one of the stronger instances of that. We're going to feel a need to do something, but the timing just isn't right yet. You might be waiting on others to do their part. Any inaction at the same time might feel like you're slipping behind or not handling your business.

We can't force things into happening here (and trying can often backfire, creating bigger problems). But what we can do is prepare as best we can and chip away at little things while we wait on bigger things to take shape. If you're completely idle, start something, even if there's no intent to finish it right away (and there might not be opportunity anyway). A lot of our current projects can be disjointed to an extent, so having the capacity to bounce in between things in the downtime is going to be a key to staying engaged in what you're doing. Best of luck.

The Daily Horoscope for Taurus

The way that you view certain possessions (or by extension, materialistic opportunities) can take some dramatic shifts. This is energy where you might see benefits to something that weren't apparent before (kind of like off-label pharmaceutical use). In your mind, if something works, the particulars of it won't matter too much. That might lead you to buck some "conventional wisdom" at times, finding value in ways others would normally write off.

Today's Astrology Quote of the Day:
Failure or success seem to have been allotted to men by their stars...
But they retain the power of wriggling, of fighting with their star or against it, and in the whole universe the only really interesting movement is this wriggle...

Daily Tao

The Tao of Heaven
Is like drawing a bow
Lower that which is high
Raise that which is low
Reduce that which has excess
Add to that which is lacking

The Tao of heaven
Reduces the excessive
And adds to the lacking

The Tao of people is not so
It reduces the lacking
In order to offer to the excessive

Who can offer their excess to the world?
Only those who have the Tao
Therefore sages act without conceit
Achieve without claiming credit
They do not wish to display their virtue!
