"The knowledge that the atoms that comprise life on earth - the atoms that make up the human body, are traceable to the crucibles that cooked light elements into heavy elements in their core under extreme temperatures and pressures. These stars- the high mass ones among them- went unstable in their later years- they collapsed and then exploded- scattering their enriched guts across the galaxy- guts made of carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, and all the fundamental ingredients of life itself. These ingredients become part of gas clouds that condense, collapse, form the next generation of solar systems- stars with orbiting planets. And those planets now have the ingredients for life itself. So that when I look up at the night sky, and I know that yes we are part of this universe, we are in this universe, but perhaps more important than both of those facts is that the universe is in us. When I reflect on that fact, I look up- many people feel small, because their small and the universe is big. But I feel big because my atoms came from those stars." –Unknown



The weekend vibe emerges with a quiet and self-meditating start…like a dream state upon waking from a deep, deep sleep…the best thing to do is take your time and let yourself warm up to it all. There can be a lot of interesting and unusual dreamlike elements right now that can lend us a to great insight if we are willing to take the time to investigate the signs a little further…

This energy translates deeply into our interactions with others…while it isn’t talked about a lot, our level of communication with animals, its playful nature and honest, open and free level of connection is the key sort of interaction that is needed right now. While this is easy to achieve with animals, it’s often overlooked when it comes to dealing with people. A sense of play, wonder, and wordless communication right now can work wonders!

There is an awesome sense of freedom that unleashes itself with this energy as well… the sense and desire to break free of certain bonds should be taken seriously at this time, especially when it comes to ideas of striving for self enhancing goals. There is a desire to lift up the self that cannot be avoided. This energy is likely to play itself out in the emotional sphere as well, especially anything connected to our closest family and friends. The key here is in stripping ourselves clear of the extraneous …letting our bare selves been seen, and shared.

Overall, this is some great energy for transformation and stepping into the unknown while at the same time letting ourselves enjoy the freedom of uncomplicated and honest communication! A call to Cheers the New Year indeed!
