Daily Horoscope for Virgo Summary

The Rolling Stones are comin' to play here in the Land of Buff... Tickets went on sale today, so like so many others I went online lookin' to buy my tickets... First of all, I was stunned that they're selling "seats" on the field of a football stadium... (like you're going to sit down at a Stones concert)... hehe... So naturally I picked out a section close to the stage and couldn't believe it when I saw the price was $450 each per ticket... I'm a huge Stones fan and I've seen them play a dozen times in the past... Keith is perhaps the greatest rocker of all time & Charlie is one of the best drummers I have ever heard... But there is a point where common sense is needed.

The above example is a perfect description for the Venus opposing Saturn vibe going on in today's chart... Yeah, I 'spose I could have gone "cheap" and bought tickets in the "far away" sections... But the "stadium sound" in those areas really blows... Venus demands quality, but Saturn demands value... And when the "price isn't right" we are expected to know when to walk away. That is the "lesson" that Saturn & Venus are bringing to us... The need for "fiscal sanity".

Venus & Saturn connecting shows the need to take that "cold hard look" at our personal finances... I remember when I going through this kind of transit years ago when I was really struggling... I reached that point where I said "enough is enough" and "never again"... I made up my mind that I wanted to be a "free man" with no debts and even though it took years to accomplish, I have never looked back... No "credit cards"... If I can't pay cash for it, then I don't buy it... And when you pay cash, there is a level of "pain" that causes you to really question whether there is enough value in the things that you're considering buying.

Today's chart has that element of "shaking ourselves back into reality" and using more Saturn style common sense... I read online yesterday that if you are debt free and have $10 in your pocket, you are wealthier than 25% of the USA population... It's not about "keeping score" or comparing yourself to others... But... (pointing to my butt)... Hehe... Venus opposing a retro Saturn are trying to inspire each of us to stop the financial/materialistic insanity and to take a more fundamental approach to our financial choices & decisions... Simple & elegant...

Anyway... as much as I like the Rolling Stones, I think I'll heed the Saturn/Venus advice today and keep the $900 for a pair of tickets in my pocket... It is kind of amazing that these 70 year old guys can rock it out like they still do... (((CHEER)))...
