Daily Horoscope for Virgo Summary

Venus and Jupiter hook up this week and in general, it’s a boon to the personal finances. There might be new opportunities that come around where you can put a couple extra bucks in your pocket. You might sow the seeds for a promotion at work, or maybe you start some kind of small side venture that eventually gains some steam.

However, I think we as a people put too much money “coming in”. We routinely ask “what do you do for a living” when meeting new people, and speculate on what others earn. We get into the comparison game at times, which is never a fruitful endeavor. And the truth of the matter is, realistically, “income” is the element of finance we have the least direct control of. If you own your own business, or something where you’re in control, you have to rely on what others are willing to buy from you, or what they’re willing to give you for your service. If you’re an employee, you have to negotiate with the people paying you. Either way, someone else is ultimately involved. And we make this the most important thing regularly. Because we’re stupid.

The flip side is the money going out. There’s some things with money going out that could be out of our hands, like if you have to pay for essential medical expenses for instance. But with most elements of outgoing money, you have a greater deal of individual control. You decide what you purchase, and in many ways, how much of something you purchase (such as with utilities to an extent). Because most people have to operate under some sort of budget, you get to prioritize what is accumulated under such a budget. It’s not cut and dried, but at the same time, again, most of the responsibility and decisions do fall to you.

So keep this in mind as you go throughout the day. Some might look at Venus-Jupiter and say “I hope someone drops off a dumptruck full of money on my front lawn this morning”, when the real benefit in the energy might be lurking in the money-sucking albatross you stand to dump, or the personal changes you enact to limit frivolous spending and increase the value you get on the things you do pick up. The bottom line is if you aren’t happy with a fiscal situation, look at all aspects of it, not just one line of the ledger. Best of luck.

You might struggle some with the energy because in some of your situations it appears you’re confined to your present settings. You might look out at what others are doing and it might frustrate you when others appear to have everything going for them while you toil away. However, that’s all on the surface – the current energy is helping you to become strong and experienced enough to break free from present bonds. Once free you’ll have much more opportunity, but it’s this time now that sets the foundation for your success in those opportunities.
