Mars and Uranus are hooked up right now, and while they’ve already made their connection, the effects will still be felt for a little while. The key word to watch out for is anger. Uranus wants things a certain way. When things aren’t the way you want them to be, you tend to get a little agitated. You start asking yourself, “Why is it like this? Why can’t it be like this?” Only Uranus also tends to be moody. That’s why you might start seeing some reform-based initiatives popping up around now.

That’s one thing. But then you throw in the Mars side of things and it starts to get a bit scary. People start acting impulsively. The emotions end up steering the ship a lot of times, and it turns into shoot first, ask questions later. It’s not a good way for people to conduct themselves. People kind of step outside themselves at times like these, and when they look back, they might not always be happy with how they acted.

So what should you do? The best bet is to try to be a calming influence on the people around you. The more you’re part of the solution and not part of the problem, the more people will side with you on things and you won’t have to face as much resistance. You might get frustrated at how things seem to turn out here, but you don’t have to treat things with the sort of impending doom importance others may seem to. No matter what happens, you can always adapt and move on. That’s life. The key is to leave yourself in a better position to adapt, rather than taking a flamethrower to the metaphorical bridges between you and others. So try to remain calm, and if someone in your immediate vicinity is struggling to do the same, give them a bit of a wide berth, while remaining understanding that stress can force people’s hands at times. Working with others might turn into a huge production today, and part of the reason for that is because you can find fault with most of the people around you. You definitely need to avoid drifting into the area of being uncouth and letting your criticisms take on a personal tone. You can be driven by the ideal – it’s nice to pursue, but at the end of the day, we don’t live in a perfect world. You’ve got to find a way to be somewhat happy with “something good” rather than being miserable because it’s not perfect.
