Daily Horoscope for Virgo Summary

Mercury is retrograde... Again... (Uggghhh)... hehe...
Yeah, this is the classic energy that everybody (including me at times) tends to whine about... That's because it can be a royal pain in the ass when things do not go as planned... Or we meet with delays... Or have problems with electronics... Or misunderstandings... Or whatever...

It makes a lot more sense when you realize what Mercury retrograde's job is really all about... It's primary function is to remind us not to take ourselves and the things we are doing too seriously... Mercury is considered to be "The Messenger of the Gods"... Wait, lemme 'splain... (spoken in my best Ricky Ricardo voice)...

The story goes that the Big Spirit gives Mercury a message to deliver to us when we are close to comin' off the rails... So Mercury sets out runnin'... (just like Forrest Gump)... But somewhere along the way, he gets too far ahead of the Sun and starts thinking that he has better ideas and wants the "credit and praise" for his ideas... So he changes/alters the message instead of delivering it as it was given to him... And that is when the problems/delays take place because it's not his job to interpret the message (he usually gets it wrong hehe)... What then happens is that we have to "back up" to where we may have veered off the path.

I 'Spose that is why my 'scopes are so accurate... Because I go to great lengths to just write what the chart says... No more or no less... (when I feel the need to put my own comments/interpretations in the 'scopes, I put them in parenthesis like this... So pass me the olives this time!!)... hehe...

This is a really good time to take that big step backwards and to re-examine our current path and direction with the question of whether or not we are listening to the "Voice of the Spirit" or if we are being stubborn and trying to do things "our way" instead... This is especially true right now with the Day of Atonement (at-one-ment) coming up next week...This is when the universe tries to bring each of us back into harmony with the spiritual love of the universe.
