Weekend Summary:

Its been many many many many many moons (almost forty years of them!) since we had a full moon on Christmas…this sets the stage for the opening of a long weekend for many and can open up to the space needed to come to grips, or at least get a grip on, our emotional center at this time. You are not alone though, if you can feel the extra stress and strain this energy carries in terms of knowing that there is much to do and our act is yet to be in order. So come one, come all, join me in my boat! The great part about this energy is that it eases up as the weekend wears on and can leave more of a motivating force at hand as we can feel the potentials urging us gently (or not) forward. It is the dream within, to rise up and conquer, to dream big and maybe, just maybe, get the winning upper hand. But, like always, it comes with a lot of work (or endless fund for lotto!).

The destructive and potentially empowering force of Pluto highlights the scene this weekend and would be much less extreme without a little help from Mercury and Mars. The joining of such a strong configuration of thse inner and most outer planet leaves gap enough for some serious thought. It is the contrast that truly brings out the greatest challenges and rewards. This energy is no less personal than the energy described above, yet pulls the act together with others….those who feel the urge to be secluded and alone at this time should be encouraged to find the time to venture into the great masses if for no other reason than to witness the great unfolding of the social scene (Santa forgot to bring my cloaking devise yet again so I can get the most out of riding public transportation here in NYC). It’s on This great stage that we can truly make the most difference, as a smile shared with a stranger is often the most memorable…

Some of us however, have plenty of souls to surround ourselves with everywhere but within the cozy confines of our own bathroom (except of course, for the many with wee ones at their heels!). In cases such as this, this will prove to be a time where the most heart felt exchanges can come to pass, depending on the other elements at play, this can include drama, dreams, or the ultimate…that expression that sinks deep without knowing, and comes to play a most important part within, resonating for years to come. So the key here is really in being present with those who cross our paths right now (and especially with the self if we get this precious time). Share what you will, or nothing at all, but Be fully there.

As world wide shifts come into play, and new developments change the very landscape on which we stand, it’s the simple and Alive moments that will be recalled with great nostalgia. Alas, we are living these days still (the good old teens of the century, and heck, who knows, maybe sweet 16 really will be a thing…)
