The current energy remains quite a mess, but since the Jupiter-Saturn connection is going to linger for a while, and we've broken it down a fair amount, we won't talk about that today. Today's chart features Mercury sliding into a tough spot next to Uranus (and conflicting with Pluto). This is the kind of energy that feeds into revolutionary processes, so you'll probably hear a bunch about Bernie and Trump over the coming days.

The bottom line is that internally, people are pissed about things. Today’s energy is only going to make that more pronounced. You have the internal need for change shaping up. You have Jupiter and Saturn creating more work than you can probably get done. You also have Pluto wishing to inject its own madness into the mix. So it can be a bit volatile. We like to say things like Stay on the positive side of the energy around here, but today is a day where you’ll actively have to do that. Conversations that turn negative can turn into diatribes on systems and people, where little care is reserved and people can unload. If you get sucked into one of these firefights, look for a way out as soon as you can.

All that said, people will have a propensity to talk about things that really resonate with them. So you might not get the empty niceties, but sometimes it’s not so bad to have to deal with real situations, because that’s how things change for the better. Just try to keep an open mind. The ultimate theme of this energy is the need for change, but you can’t change if you hold on to the way things are right now with an iron grip. In many ways, this energy is about letting go of things that have crippled your mind for too long. You are very prone to letting things that bug you resurface over and over again, and when you only deal with them in reactionary terms, you get poor results and don't actually fix anything. Above all, this energy requires an openness to do things differently. You know how to do a lot of things, and you might be very comfortable with them, but throwing up a stop sign if someone else wants to change something might just keep you in the same loops you're currently in.
