Daily Horoscope for Virgo Summary

Today's energy can take us deep into our mind and emotions... It helps us to connect to that inner thread of "what really matters" to us... This energy is about as personal as it gets because all of those retrograde planets give us the raw, unfiltered version of our feelings and emotions... The kind that doesn't have to make sense... They are what they are.

While that may not seem like a very big deal to many of you... Believe me, these are the kind of patterns that prove to have a profound impact upon our lives and our futures by shaping and altering the choices & decisions that we may not have made... These retrogrades as annoying as they may be at times are vital to aligning and unifying our mind, hearts and souls.

They say we are either "right brained" or "left brained" thinkers... But the truth in the room is that there are 3 very different brain functions... We have the cortex that deals with the "data processing" tasks... The limbic that deals with processing the feelings & emotional issues... And lastly, there is the tiny part called "the reptilian brain" that is based on our survival.

Talk to anybody that has just bought a new car... They'll tell you all the solid reasons (cortex) why they chose a certain model... (blah blah blah)... We hear things like "great gas mileage" or "safety" or a "great price" or whatever... But if that was true, we'd all be driving crappy boxy fuel efficient cars... But as you drive down the road, instead we see some awesome sleek, sexy and high performance vehicles... That is because at the end of the day, the reptilian brain makes the choice based upon what we truly want... Trackin' with me on this?... Hell, I recently bought a new car... and yeah, I could have been practical, but instead I wanted luxury, comfort, quality and performance.

In astrology, retrograde planets allow our reptilian brain to rise the surface... We see different sides of ourselves and others in the things we do... This is the universe's way of aligning ourselves with our true inner nature... It can be a confusing time, but we get to learn a lot about ourselves and others too.
