I had a big birthday this week which was the strangest birthday ever! Three members of my family got tested for Covid that day. My daughter spent the day in the ER. Needless to say, no party! So, I had strawberry shortcake for breakfast, enjoyed the bouquets my kids sent and ordered carryout for dinner. The restaurants here all re-closed that day! And I spent the whole day on the phone with all my kids and grandkids! Not what I anticipated but a great day! I will celebrate the big one next year! After all that, I just could not write an ordinary scope. And the Universe came to my rescue as always! There is a comet, Neowise, speeding through our solar system right now! In fact, it is visible in the night sky now! Just Google it and you can find out when it is visible where you live. There are lots of pictures if you are unable to see it live. Comets are fairly rare events, but they do have astrological significance! This one was discovered on March 27, 2020. You do remember what was going on in March, right? Haha! Who could forget? Neowise was first seen at 1 degree Leo opposite Saturn and Mars and square Uranus. Opposite Saturn it indicates restriction, contraction, delays, boundaries, isolation, worry, depression, trade losses, unemployment, sickness, and poverty. It puts pressure on governments, leaders and corporations. It forces you to be responsible, patient, practical, economical, loyal, respectful of tradition, and also to look after older people.

The opposition to Mars adds irritation, meanness, cruelty, violence, operations, fevers, rioting, and danger of war. It places pressure on police, security guards, and the military.

The square to Uranus creates disturbances from revolutionary change and unexpected events, anxiety, nervousness, accidents and revolution. Holy Cow! You just cannot make this stuff up! I mean really, that is the last 5 months in a nutshell!

But this is not all doom and gloom! Notice there are two oppositions and a square? That means there is an empty sign that would complete the square. Since it is empty, it is the doorway out of the chaos created by these other planets and the comet! That sign in Scorpio. Scorpio does not exactly have the best reputation as the happiest sign but it has some great qualities. For one, it is forthright and honest. Tells it like it is!
