All of these things can help you set reasonable expectations for what's to come moving forward, and at the same time, you can have a better idea of what to do and not do in certain situations.

Looking ahead isn't as easy, because you don't know what's coming next. There can be a lot of anticipation, often hope, and this mental exercise of trying to figure out what the future looks like. People can make some decisions about what path they're going to take, and that's important, because if you don't know where you're going, where are you going?

These two mindsets will tend to win out more often than not today, but the third, and probably most important one you don't want to lose sight of is what you're dealing with in the present. People can often be a bit oblivious to this right now, and it will show up in the mistakes and missteps they make. More often than not when something goes awry right now, it's because someone wasn't paying enough attention. So if you have things to do, focus on them and think them through as well as you can. You can reflect or dream during the quiet times. But don't get lost in space when you actually need to be doing something. If you can manage that, this energy is pretty good to work with. But you can tend to get saddled with the more existential question of "What's it all leading to?". Because the energy can make you quite a bit more resistant to changes (and the idea that what you're doing is fine as is), you have to take a look at if the decisions you're making choke out any room for future growth. You might also try to be inactive at times to slow processes down, but if you're just stalling so you don't have to make a decision, your time would be better spent figuring out what decision you should make.
