Song of the Week

The screen door slams, Mary's dress waves
Like a vision she dances across the porch as the radio plays
Roy Orbison singing for the lonely
Hey, that's me and I want you only
Don't turn me home again, I just can't face myself alone again

Don't run back inside, darling, you know just what I'm here for
So you're scared and you're thinking that maybe we ain't that young anymore
Show a little faith, there's magic in the night
You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright
Oh, and that's alright with me

You can hide 'neath your covers and study your pain
Make crosses from your lovers, throw roses in the rain
Waste your summer praying in vain
For a savior to rise from these streets
Well now, I ain't no hero, that's understood
All the redemption I can offer, girl, is beneath this dirty hood
With a chance to make it good somehow
Hey, what else can we do now?

Except roll down the window and let the wind blow back your hair
Well, the night's busting open, these two lanes will take us anywhere
We got one last chance to make it real
To trade in these wings on some wheels
Climb in back, heaven's waiting on down the tracks

Oh oh, come take my hand
We're riding out tonight to case the promised land
Oh oh oh oh, Thunder Road
Oh, Thunder Road, oh, Thunder Road
Lying out there like a killer in the sun
Hey, I know it's late, we can make it if we run
Oh oh oh oh, Thunder Road
Sit tight, take hold, Thunder Road

Well, I got this guitar and I learned how to make it talk
And my car's out back if you're ready to take that long walk
From your front porch to my front seat
The door's open but the ride ain't free
And I know you're lonely for words that I ain't spoken
But tonight we'll be free, all the promises'll be broken

There were ghosts in the eyes of all the boys you sent away
They haunt this dusty beach road in the skeleton frames of burned-out Chevrolets
They scream your name at night in the street
Your graduation gown lies in rags at their feet
And in the lonely cool before dawn
You hear their engines rolling on
But when you get to the porch, they're gone on the wind
So Mary, climb in
It's a town full of losers, I'm pulling out of here to win

Today's Horoscope Summary...

Today I Start my Life Anew...
We have a very exciting astrological week approaching and it's will continue to get more intense as we progress over the next few weeks too... One of the biggest factors in play right now is Saturn slowing down (to a stop) as it prepares to return to direct (forward) motion again... (((CHEER)))...

I do have to admit that I am a bit distracted at the moment as this is 'the birthday week' here and there is just so much going on right now... The vast majority of our family are born in the month of September... Last night, we went out on a dinner cruise of the inner harbors of Lake Erie... Sorta-kinda like those New Orleans river boats... Anyway, I was talkin' to this woman who was born on the same day as I was... In the same hospital... Even possible that our mothers may have shared the same hospital room... What are the odds of that occuring... hehe...

This current chart has a strange, exciting energy where at our deepest depths, we can tell there is more goin' on than meets the eye... It has that vibe that feels like there is a 'glitch in the matrix' that is taking place... Where fate and destiny are quite active in the activities going on behind the scenes... This energy is being emphasized by all those planets (Mars, Sun, Mercury and Venus) transiting the sign of Virgo.

We still have quite a few retrograde planets, so the motion tends to be 'three steps forward, two steps backwards'... That means it requires a lot of extra patience at times when things do not go as planned or expected... The whole idea this week is to be able to just 'roll with whatever happens' by being willing to be adaptable to change and able to accept new and better ways of accomplishing the tasks before us.

Happy Birthday to Bud...
Bud has been the unsung hero of this site for the past twenty something years.!!! I'll never forget the feeling of driving home after he was born... The shock of being a father at only 22 years old and taking in all that it meant and required... I do not remember the exact song I played for him on the ride home, but I have to assume it was Bruce Springsteen's 'Thunder Road' as that cassette was always inserted in the car's stereo back then.

That's it for now... I'll talk to you guys in the daily 'scopes...

Keep the Faith... Better Days and Higher Love are comin' soon...

The Weekly Horoscope for Aries...

The weekly horoscope for Aries has that kind of energy where everything appears to be so familiar... To the point where you seem to know exactly what others are going to say and do... Almost like you are watching a movie you've seem many times before... (yawn)... It is a bit of a no-brainer that this is when you need to be extra careful because deep inside you know there is more going on than meets the eye and that certain surprises are extremely likely to happen... Gotta remain sharp this week and pay close attention.

...Show some Love...
