Weekly Horoscope for Capricorn Summary

Hey Moondoggies...
If having 4 retro planets wasn't enough, we have Mercury joining the party and going retrograde on Wednesday the 28th... (oh joy)... That will add even more cloudiness into the mix we are currently dealing with... Hehe...

OK... For the new-comers here... A retrograde planet is one that appears to be moving backwards in the sky because of the Earth's position... When a planet is in retrograde motion, that planet's energy effect we feel is more "internalized"... We tend to see events and things as they may effect us instead of what they are.

Planets that are in Retrograde motion energy also has a way of causing elements of the past to re-surface in our lives in one way or another... That happens as this energy is there to deliver and "teach us a lesson"... Retrograde planets are also there to bring us opportunities that were intended for us that we either missed or ignored... So they can function as if we are being given a second chance too.

So... This week we have:
Mercury: (communication & transportation)...
Pluto: (transformation)...

Saturn: (long term growth)...
Mars: (energy and action)...
Jupiter: (learning and justice)...


It doesn't take rocket science to see how planet energy like this can have a radical impact upon the choices and decisions we will make... This is one of those times when just by knowing this it can cause us to pause before taking impulsive actions and really stop to think things through all the way before we do something we may later regret.

It is also a time when we can realize that we may have had other choices in the past that we were not aware of, or not ready for yet... It's when opportunities can and will re-appear too.

The energy itself is actually neutral... So it shouldn't be considered either good or bad... As I said above, it's there to help us internalize situations and to get to the real "heart & soul" of the matter... Mercury retrograde has a bad reputation for causing trouble and delays in communication, electronics, and transportation... So the best of advice you need is to "have a backup plan" just in case things do not go as planned and to give yourself a lot of extra time when you are going from one place to another.

I've been getting a lot of emails about the funky characters that are showing up in the horoscopes... The reason for that is because Bud and Dawn must be writing their 'scopes using Microsoft Word and Word uses a funky character set that isn't compatible with the standard internet character sets... I'll get that fixed this week..

This week's Capricorn chart is one that shows that all the pieces that are needed for your future are starting to appear and to fall into place... It's sorta-kinda like a jig-saw puzzle where you can envision where everything is leading you, but that the image is still somewhat fuzzy and incomplete... That is because deep within you, the 5 retrograde planets we have in effect are likely to change/alter/modify the direction and outcomes of many key life area activities... The vibe of the chart tends to be more relaxed because it's the knowing that even with unexpected changes, chances are that things will work out better than expected...
