Weekly Horoscope for Capricorn

DECEMBER 21 - JANUARY 20

Song of the Week

People say I'm no good, and crazy as a loon
'Cause I get stoned in the mornin'...
...I get drunk in the afternoon
Kinda like my old blue tick hound...
...I like to lay around in the shade
And I ain't got no money...
...but I damn sure got it made

'Cause I ain't askin' nobody for nothin'
If I can't get it on my own
If you don't like the way I'm livin'
You just leave this long haired country boy alone

Preacher man talking on TV...
...Puttin' down the rock and roll
Wants me to send a donation...
...'cause he's worried about my soul
He said, "Jesus walked on the water."...
And I know that it's true
But sometimes I think that preacher man...
...Would like to do a little walkin' too

But I ain't askin' nobody for nothin'
If I can't get it on my own
If you don't like the way I'm livin'
You just leave this long haired country boy alone

A poor girl wants to marry...
...A rich girl wants to flirt
A rich man goes to college...
...A poor man goes to work
A drunkard wants another drink of wine...
...and a politician wants your vote
I don't want much of nothing at all...
...But I will take another toke

'Cause I ain't asking nobody for nothin'
If I can't get it on my own
If you don't like the way I'm livin'
You just leave this long haired country boy alone

Weekly Horoscope for Capricorn Summary

Happy Thanksgiving Moon-Doggies...
Hey Moon-Doggies... Just some random thoughts re: Thanksgiving in this time of madness... So work with me on this...

Being Thankful... What a concept, and one that seems like it is losing the power and strength it once had over people... The Jupiter/Saturn/Pluto alignment attempts to bring that 'thank-full-ness' back... Sometimes by taking away the things we often may 'take for granted'.

Happy Thanksgiving...
Most people do not know that the United States started with a 'socialist' type of government... The Dutch pilgrims wanted to create a "utopia" or a 'heaven on earth'... And it started out really great... But in no time, it began to fail... The idea that everybody sharing equally in the rewards and efforts was awesome, but it wasn't sustainable...

Soon... Nobody wanted to do the hard jobs like harvesting the crops... The pilgrims wanted the rewards, without putting in the hard individual effort... Soon, they were starving because even though they had rich crops in the field... The crops were rotting 'on the vine'... Because everybody thought 'somebody else' should do the hard work... (blah blah blah)... The 'Native Americans' had to come in and rescue them/us.... That is how Thanksgiving really started.

Anyway...
The first thing I do every morning when I wake up... Is to look up to the Big Guy up there in the Big Sky and thank him for another day... And another chance for me to be alive and to 'get it right'... Even if I completely screwed it up the day before... Each day is fresh new start.

Think about it... Every day, each of us are given another chance at rising above the negativity we usually face... The past is already gone, and the future hasn't arrived yet... So all we have is this day and therefore we can go the extra mile for ourselves and others... How freakin' awesome is it, because we can be the ones that make the difference in the lives of others... Just by being who we really are inside.

I admit, we will be 'breaking the rules' on Thanksgiving and having more than the restricted '5' people here for dinner... I liked the guy on the telly-vision who said, he is calling Thanksgiving a "Funeral for his Turkey" (25 people allowed for a funeral)... hehe... We're not gonna let some politicians take away our holidays!!

We are surely at a turning point in History... I sure hope people understand the consequences of their choices... What we may 'HOPE' for to happen, may prove to be quite different than the reality we get in return... All I am gonna say about that.

That's it for now... I'll talk to you guys in the Daily 'Scopes...

Keep the Faith... Better Days and Higher Love are comin' soon...

Chiron reminds us that only through recognising and accepting our inner wounds can we find true healing...

Daily Tao

A strong military, a tool of misfortune
All things detest it
Therefore, those who possess the Tao avoid it
Honorable gentlemen, while at home, value the left
When deploying the military, value the right

The military is a tool of misfortune
Not the tool of honorable gentlemen
When using it out of necessity
Calm detachment should be above all
Victorious but without glory
Those who glorify
Are delighting in the killing
Those who delight in killing
Cannot achieve their ambitions upon the world

Auspicious events favor the left
Inauspicious events favor the right
The lieutenant general is positioned to the left
The major general is positioned to the right
We say that they are treated as if in a funeral
Those who have been killed
Should be mourned with sadness
Victory in war should be treated as a funeral
