Weekly Horoscope for Libra Summary
Today I Start my Life Anew...
We have a Fire Grand Trine in this current chart Moon-Doggies, and any type of "Grand Trines" can be one of the best astrological configurations we could have... Because this is the kind of energy that gets things moving in our lives... Just in case you were wondering, in a chart, Grand Trines look like "equal sided triangles"... Anyway, I feel a bit of a rant coming on... So let's get into this.
I've been talkin' about getting the new free membership sign up page going for a while, and that hasn't happened yet... Grrrr... It is a matter of "life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans"... Hehe... But you guys that have been stoppin' by over the past 22 years (it is weeklyhoroscope.com's 22nd birthday today) know that it will happen soon... Why?... Because you know it is already done in my mind, now it is just a matter of gettin' this ol' body to get it done... hehe... Lemme 'Splain it to ya...
In my mind, the worst tragedy in today's Modern Life is that we fail to teach kids how to use the power of their minds, their faith and their dreams... That in essence is what the power of Grand Trines are all about... They are there to jump-start our minds and imaginations to show us how the impossible is always possible... That is what this current energy is all about... In a way, that is what this website is actually all about too... WeeklyHoroscope started as an accident... I'll tell ya's the story...
While my brothers were going to the university, they used to give me their old computers when they got new ones... I wasn't so much interested in the computers, but saw them more as a means to an end... I taught myself to program astrology routines... I knew nothing about programming, but the idea of not having to do all that math by hand (takes about an hour to cast a chart manually) was worth the bother... It inspired me to learn enough to get the job done... And besides, it was kinda fun too.... Anyway...
One fateful day I went to visit my friend Sharon Whyte (one of the greatest people on the planet) who had just gotten a new job at a startup internet company... We were going to go out to lunch... She mentioned to the owner that I was a computer guy, so he came over to me and we started talkin'... Somehow, in that conversation I ended up agreeing to go to work there doing sales... (never even discussed what it would pay)... Keep in mind, this is long before anyone knew what "internet" was... Long before Google was created... It just kind of happened.
Sharon happened to mention to the others in the office that I was an astrologer... So every time I'd walk into the office they'd say "Hey Daniel, What's in my Stars"... Then I'd have to repeat the same rant about 10 different times a day, to about 10 different people... Arrggg... A couple of the programmers would teach me a little bit of HTML (internet coding language) so I got the idea to build a web-page and write it down... If they wanted to know, they could go to the page and read it for themselves... I called the page "Hey Baby, What's your Sign?"...
The guys were goofin' on me in the office one day about the name of the site... Sharon said something like... What would you expect, his name is Dowd... He must be "well endowed"... And hence the name "daniel whelland dowd"... I still get emails from people that say they've been reading the 'scopes for years and never got the joke until they were telling someone about it and said the name out loud... hehe... Anyway... On this day 22 years ago, one of the guys suggested I buy a "Domain Name" (dot com)... I didn't have the time to write daily horoscopes, so I bought WeeklyHoroscope with the idea of just writing once a week.
Back to the 'Scopes...
It is a scientific fact that both the mind and faith have the power to change the outcome of events... Grand Trines are there to help us to activate our brains to cause us to ask ourselves... "What if"... or "How can I"... To explore potentials that are not available to us at that particular moment... It helps us to form a partnership with "The Source of All Things"... If you want to believe something is impossible, then it is... But if you want to believe it is possible, then it's merely a matter of finding the way to get it done.
Grand Trines are there to lead us to where our mind, heart and soul's really want to be... They remind us that anything is possible... (that is a fact)... That is what WeeklyHoroscope has always been about... Think about it... Most of the other websites that are of similar size to WeeklyHoroscope has a complete staff of programmers and support people... WeeklyHoroscope has one guy named "daniel" and a handful of brilliant and awesome mutants that have the courage to dream big, and then to have the balls to allow it to happen.
I gave away so many free memberships that it revealed flaws in the programming... And rather than trying to "patch" it, I decided if we are gonna go another 20 years then I better re-build it to where it can withstand the traffic and astrological computational demands... I made the site "free" because it wouldn't be right to charge you guys if the pages were not always available... Besides, the real truth in the room is that I really am not all that concerned about "the money" because the Big Spirit always finds the ways to bring me nearly anything I ask for... (and more)... Magic and Miracles is not some new-age fantasy dream... It is a rock solid reality to me... It's like the 'Scopes... If I can't back it up, I don't write it down... It might sound wacky to some of you, but I choose to "Keep the Faith" because I truly do believe.
Anyway, that's the story... Twenty two years... Wow, how time flies by...
