Weekly Horoscope for Sagittarius Summary
Astrologically, Saturn is the "Rodney Dangerfield" planet... (I don't get no respect)... hehe... That's because most astrologers really don't understand it's true purpose... Yeah, when Saturn is very active in a chart, it tends to cause problems and restrictions... But that is only because the path we are on is not leading us in the right direction or "has no heart"... Saturn demands that we are self-reliant, but to also be generous when we can. Saturn tells us to save and be prepared for unexpected events.
Normally Saturn and Jupiter's energy in a chart tends to balance each other out... But now with Jupiter being retrograde, Saturn's energy is extremely powerful. With Saturn sitting on the cusp of Scorpio... The focus for the next couple years will be upon being able to rise above "feelings & emotions" and making decisions based upon real & true provable facts... That means holding others accountable for the words and promises that are made. As a result, you'll see more written contracts and signed agreements come into play. Those that can back up their words with solid actions can prosper tremendously... Those that can't will slowly fade away into the background. It's just like the kids story of the "Three Pigs".
Just watch, there will be "shocking" new information revealed... (is anything really shocking anymore?... Hmmm, interesting daniel... Please pass the olives)... And there can be some rather rough times ahead too... But make no mistake about it, this energy is exactly what is needed to spur one of the greatest growth cycles mankind has ever experienced... Saturn connected to Uranus can bring about life changing inventions and increases in science and understanding... Very exciting things can start to happen.
Jupiter doesn't return to direct motion until after the new year... (Jan 29th)... So with Saturn running the show for a while... That tell us we have to "step up our game"... To take the extra time to make sure we get things done right the first time... Focus on quality and responsibility and you can have it made... It's all about maintaining the highest levels of personal integrity and ethics. Yeah, those are challenging and restrictive things at times... but the rewards gained and personal satisfaction is definitely worth the effort. It's energy like this that allows us regular people to rise up to be super-stars at what we do.

As always, I pick the song of the week that matches the feeling or "vibe" of the current chart energy... (what it would sound like if you could listen to the chart)... So not only is Fields of Gold a perfect fit this week... It's also one of my all time favorite songs... So much so that when my son Jesse was born, I played it in the hospital for him so it would be the first song he would ever hear.
