Weekly Horoscope for Sagittarius Summary
Let's handle the rougher stuff first...
It's Election Week here in the U.S.A. and one thing is for sure... Clearly it was the "news media" that ends up being the big winners... Did you see that each side spent approx $3 billion dollars in advertisements?... (faint)... No wonder the news media loves to see the country so politically divided... Whatever... The more divided it is, the more advertising is needed in order to win elections and therefore the more dough they make!!... Maybe now we can get something done because there are a lot of regular guys like us, that are hurting and struggling out there.
When you look at the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy on the East Coast... That too goes along with what I've been saying regarding Saturn moving into Scorpio... That situation should serve as a very clear warning of the need to be as self-reliant as possible... Fortunately the storm wasn't as bad as it could have been...
Think about it... What would all those people do if they were cut off from utilities, food & supplies for weeks?... months?... Saturn in Scorpio advises us to "prepare in advance" for problems that could relate to our individual living conditions and locations... Obviously you are more at risk in the bigger cities, but all of us need to be more aware these days.
Personally... I think every home should have a supply of food for two months... (even if it's simple things like rice)... As well as water, firewood and candles... Perhaps a grill too... Trackin' with me on this... Even though, chances are it may never be needed, if it was... A few simple preparations could make things a hell of a lot easier for you. This is not "doom and gloom" it's more like the Boy Scouts motto of "Be Prepared"... (ok spare us your boy scout days lessons daniel & get on with the horoscope... and please pass the olives you've stored up too)... hehehe...
Ok now let's get on with it...
With Saturn, Uranus, the North Node & Pluto sitting on the house cusps, they are there to "open the doors to opportunity"... Keep in mind that the "house cusps" are a very "personal" areas of the chart, so with the most powerful planets in these key positions, chances are the leader you are looking for is probably YOU!!!... Hehe...
Keep in mind, the universe has very different plans than what we may choose for ourselves... I would never have chosen to do what I do (programmer/designer) but one thing lead to another and here I am... The question we need to ask ourselves is whether or not we are remaining open & adaptable to all kinds of different paths and opportunities... The universe likes to do things in a "domino effect"... (one thing leads to another) so sometimes it's hard to see where things will end up, so you just have to believe.
Anyway... I could go on, but I'm not... I'll get back into it during the week in the daily 'scopes... With Dawn being semi-stranded in New York City in the hurricane aftermath... And Bud overseas in Europe in meetings and having a damn good time... I've been doing so much extra writing... Geeshka, it's only me holdin' up the fort... (sounds like I'm whining huh?)... hehehe... So like everybody else, I too have to adapt to the new pace for now... Sorry for the "mini" scopes this week... I'm just trying to avoid "burning out"... Hope you understand...
