Happy Christmas Moondoggies!!!
Welcome to the End of the World...
Geeshka... It seems 5100 years come and go so quickly these days... hehe... It's been a hell of a ride though... Who knows, perhaps the next group of "survivors" will be able to get it right the next time!! hehe...
So where are you going to be... And WHO are you going to be with at 11:11 am on Friday the 21st?... At the end of Mayan Calendar.... Personally, I believe life will go on as it always does... But think about it... If the end of the Mayan Calendar really did mean the end of the world as we know it... If the world was going to end at that time... Would you want to be stuck in traffic?... Talking on a mobile phone?.... Sitting behind a desk full of paperwork?... Sitting on a couch somewhere waiting and hoping something radically cool happens?...
I like the end of the Mayan Long Count because of the questions it ask... What is the essence of our life experience?... What does Life mean?... If we only get so many days to be alive, are we living to our fullest and greatest potential?... Are we happy and productive or miserable and dependent?... Have we become so comfortably numb that we no longer care what violence or terror the world leaders create?... Why do we really even need "world leaders" in the first place?... I could go on and on for pages about this, but you get the idea... (that's right daniel, get back to the point... and please pass the olives will ya?)... hehe...
So... On Thursday nite I'll light a fire in the yard and sit out there and stare at the stars... Thanking the Big Guy and his Spirit for all the days it has given me... Perhaps I will smoke a cigar too... And thank the Big Guy for this life experience and all the people I've met and loved and cared about... Not that this life has always been easy... But it has been a paradise filled with the most incredible people you could ever imagine... Anyway, you know the drill.... If the world continues the next day as I strongly suspect it will, then each and everyday there after will be a "bonus day"... As if we all were somehow "spared" and "resurrected without having to die"... Another day to be thankful for this gift called "life".
The world really is a paradise... It's a shame people just can't seem to recognize that fact... Thanks for stopping by!! (((CHEER)))... And as always...
