Weekly Horoscope for Sagittarius Summary
I finished writing the actual horoscopes (aries to pisces)... It's been a long week & I'm tired tonight... And rather than trying to fake it and just go on automatic pilot and write about the usual Mercury & Saturn retrogrades... (blah blah blah)... The biggest thing that keeps rollin' through my mind is what happened this past week... So I think I'll just share my thoughts if that's ok with you guys...
This past week, I went down to southern Ohio for my uncle's Herb's wake/service... I didn't know him nearly as much as I would have liked to, as we grew up so far away... He was one smart and funny guy... He was one of the designers of the first GPS systems... It was great to see the guys from my Mom's side of the family... They all have that gleam & sparkle of both humour & genius in their eyes!!... I think that's where I get my "unique perspective" from... hehe...
Ok, considering that it's Mercury retrograde, perhaps it's ok to veer off course a bit and tell you a bit about the rest of my family... My mom's dad was a farmer & a Baptist Minister... I guess he was a natural businessman too... He had 13 kids before my gramma died... So he went out & got re-married and had 13 more... Geeshka... 26 kids... See what happens when you don't have telly-vision!!... hehe... So yes, I come from a long line of very horny individuals... hehe... My mom's family originated in Ireland... (Ó Cearbhaill)... And an ancestor (Charles Carroll) was one of the signers of Declaration of Independence...
My dad's family were mutants too... My dad was the greatest guy I've ever known in my opinion, but he also had the hell-raiser spirit in him... hehe... My grandfather and I share the same birthday... (Sept 27th)... His grandfather was also born on that day too... In fact, the pattern goes all the way back to Ireland where they came from... It skips every other generation... So it's likely one of my kids will have a son born on that date... My sister Sue also happens to be born on that date too, as well as my cousin Joe's son.
The name "Dowd" (Ui Dubhda) means "from the dark" as we originally were very dark skinned bad-asses that were brought in from the Middle East to help protect the Kings of Ireland... But we ended up having our way with the Kings daughters and eventually became the last "pagan" kings of Ireland... hehe...
Completely bored yet?...
I don't say too much about my brothers & sisters because they deserve their privacy... I guess the best way to sum it up would be that "You don't have to be angry to be mad scientists"... hehe...
My own life?... I wake up thankful every new day that the Big Guy & his Big Spirit gives me... My life has not always been easy or a cake-walk by any means... But it's been one hell of a wild ride and a great adventure... If I were to write it all down... The stories I could tell... It would make Huckleberry Finn seem like a piker... hehe...
Anyway... There ya go... I come from a long line of mutants... And what's great to me is knowing that most of you are mutants too... Hehe... That's the real magic in our lives... Our stories may be different, but it's the people & families that make it so awesome!!... We are all unique, but we also have the same planets rolling around in our charts too... Different, but equal... It's "Free Choice" that is what really determines the outcomes of our lives!!! So choose wisely...
