Weekly Horoscope for Sagittarius Summary
Just a fast look at this week's chart shows there could be "trouble in paradise"... When all these planets are energizing the planet of Chaos & Destruction, (Uranus in the fiery sign of Aries)... You can bet there are those that will try to take advantage of the rage, struggle & dis-satisfaction that so many are feeling in order to force their ideas onto others... That means there can be a lot of "blame" being passed around and "finger-pointing" too... Add in the fact that Mercury is retrograde, it's going to be very hard to find what is truth and what is just political rhetoric... It doesn't matter what country you happen to live in, this energy pattern is universal... This is a transit that we want to keep our eyes upon!!...
It works like this...
The world & it's leaders historically follow the path of least resistance... So seeing a chart like this, the tendency is to act erratically and perhaps impulsively and try to take advantage of the anger people are feeling... It's been that way for thousands of years, so this is nothing new... But each of us (that are reading this) have the advantage, because we know we don't have to follow blindly and we can act with patience and understanding of what is really going on... Personally, I believe that most of the leaders believe they are doing the right things... But the "old ways" of doing things just don't seem to work anymore, so they turn to power-grabbing (Pluto) and trying to "control" (Saturn) what people can and cannot do in order to maintain their own power.
You'll see this same energy going on in your own life in a very scaled back way... You'll see the high-drama and the finger-pointing & "blame-game" that goes on... An attempt many will use to try to release the negativity & frustration they are feeling... But those that "know and understand" will find a way to rise above that, and focus on overcoming the obstacles they are presented with. Because in reality, that is what this energy is all about... It's Uranus's job to bring us to a higher level of life, love & spiritual development... All that is happening now, must happen, to drive the point home to people that the madness has to end.
This is NOT the time for bold actions... It's the time to back up (retrograde) and determine what works and what doesn't... It's actually very simple... It's the universe trying to show us the madness in the way we often make everything so much more difficult than it needs to be... You'll see a new breed of leaders start to rise up with a much more common sense (Saturn) approach... So it may be a bit bumpy right now, but the end result should prove to be worth it... At least that is how I see it.
Meanwhile, Back in the Land of Buff...
Geeshka, after a week of being in some of the most beautiful places on the planet, it is hard to get back into the usual routine... Coming from 90 degrees on a perfect beach with crystal clear turquoise coloured water... And then the shock of being back in the Land of Buff (buffalo, ny) and having to deal with rain & temps in the low 40's... Arrgg... What were my ancestors thinking when the planted themselves here?... Why couldn't they have gone south and chose to live in the Cayman Islands instead fercrissakes?... hehe... Anyway... Vacation was awesome and much needed, but that's it... Now it's time to get back to work once again!
