Weekly Horoscope for Sagittarius Summary
Mercury has gone retrograde once again... So for the next three weeks (till oct 24th) it's going to be "Welcome to Wackyville"... hehe... Often Mercury going retrograde gets a bad reputation... After all, when you are a kid it's easy to blame your parents for not allowing you to do the things you want to do... (that would almost certainly get you into trouble hehe)... So it makes sense to me that as we get older, it's just as easy to blame a planet for our goofy choices & decisions. hehe...
Mercury is a very a mentally based planet... It looks over the areas of "movement" in our lives... These are the areas of expression, communication and transportation... So when Mercury goes retrograde (which means it appears to be moving backwards) what happens is the mind tends to be focused in a more inwardly manner... That causes the "emotions" to step in and take command and control... This is where it can get rather funky, so work with me on this...
The "classic" effect that we encounter with Mercury retrograde is the mis-communication with others... What happens is that our thoughts are focused deep in our own concerns and that makes it easy to "see/hear what we want to see/hear"... How many times have you heard someone say... "But you said this"... (blah blah blah)... And you know surely you said something completely different... That is most often caused during times like this... That is why I'll be repeating over & over again the need to "write things down"... Especially agreements so there can be no misunderstanding later on.
The same is true for driving or doing routine tasks... The mind can wander and we can end up putting ourselves and others into danger... Even if we force ourselves to remain engaged in the things we are doing, we also need to be very much aware of the actions of others "just in case" they are lost in the fog... And when the emotions are running the show, this can cause us to make "emotionally based decisions"... If you look in your closets and see the clothes you bought that you never wear... (seemed like a good idea at the time daniel, please pass the olives will ya?)... Chances are strong that they may have been purchased during a Mercury retrograde.
On the other hand...
Mercury retrograde can be a great time to make purchases that you have long considered... It's when "sellers" can also make impulsive or goofy decisions too... Not only that, but this is when the universe is really trying to prevent us from getting too far ahead of ourselves... It's a reminder to keep things in perspective and not allow Modern Life to blind us to what really matters most... To live more in the moment and not to be in such a rush trying to make things happen... To take our time & enjoy the paradise this world really is... It's during this time when we can find ourselves with great revelation of understanding too... When the universe tries to speak to us directly through "signs & omens".

Just lock the phrase "resist high drama at all possible costs" into your brain and you should be able to soar through this temporary transit... I 'spose it makes sense that others may react this way because right now they are having a hard time understanding what comes so easy & naturally to you!!
