Weekly Horoscope for Taurus Summary
Happy New Year...
The World View for 2018 is one of major changes and revelations of increased knowledge and understanding... It will be a lot more beneficial to each of us when we understand the energies we are dealing with as we shift from Neptune's "Age of Pisces" to the Uranian "Age of Aquarius"... So strap on your protective head-gear and let's go into the charts to take a look.
Let's try to keep this part rather simple...
If you go back into really old "3000-BC" history, what we find is a lot of stories about "this guy or that guy, and the events that happened to them and their families"... You know, the classic Torah stories of Moses and others... The energy was very Aries oriented, and dealt with their struggles of survival... There was also the element of "Conquest" as Empires were built and Leaders appeared with great power and control over the ordinary individual people... But then around "0-AD" things started to change as we moved into the Age of Pisces... It started out as a time of Spiritual Enlightenment as mankind started to ponder the real "Meaning of Life".
The past 2000 years has been a wild ride... We've had many truly enlightened spiritual teachers and leaders appear... Some of which have grown into worldwide religions of great wealth, power and influence... At times were very good for mankind and at other times "not so much"... Out of respect for the deeply personal beliefs that we as individual have, it is not my place to try to impose my own views/beliefs in this area of the conversation... I'm just trying to set the stage as we move from "where we were" to where we are going.
As we now move into the Aquarian Age, get used to the fact that things can all change "in the blink of an eye"... Advancements in science and technology... Because new facts or discoveries will appear, there will be the need to go back and "re-learn" much of what we've been taught as science may have gotten some things "wrong" along the way... Perhaps ancient civilizations were in fact a lot more advanced than we have given them credit for... (that kind of thing)...
In astrology, the Uranus energy is not one of "style and grace"... It tends to be more explosive and sudden... Like a bull in a china shop... "Ooops, Sorry... (crash)"... Hehe... The Uranian energy is more concerned with breaking down any Neptunian illusions and just layin' out the facts in a "here is the truth, deal with it" kind of way... In mythology, Uranus was "Father Sky" and was considered to be the creator of Law and Order... The purpose of the Uranian energy is to jump-start creativity, but usually did so in a "rip the rug out from beneath them" kind of way... The phrase "Order out of Chaos" is a good way to envision this.
That was then, but this is now...
I like to use the crypto-coins as a basis for helping me to keep track of the Uranian energy... Where else can you make a lot of dough one day, and then see it slip away the next?... The cycle continue as each time they go higher and higher... Then fall back down, and then it starts all over again... It is easy to get caught up in it too... But in the back of my mind I realize that there is also a HUGE lesson to be learned here... The Big Spirit doesn't give a rat's ass about how much dough we have in our pockets, it's focus is always on improving the quality of our lives so we never forget what really matters most... So what is the Uranian Energy really trying to teach us?
As much as this energy we are dealing with will prove to have an EXTREME impact on the global world and the circumstances of our lives... It will also impact each of us in a similar personal way too... At times when we are strugglin' it will be that voice that reminds us to "Just Keep Standin'"... and at other times when Modern Life can be distorting our perspectives it can ask us "How ya Livin'?"... Finding the balance in this new energy can give us the Best of Both Worlds... The mixture of "Knowledge and Wisdom"... But I feel that when we allow ourselves to be "divided into categories" we may have knowledge, or we may have wisdom... But as history has shown us just having one of them isn't enough... We need them both for magic and miracles to happen... That is the way I am seeing this chart at this moment in time.
The viddy below is one that I can personally relate to, and seems to mirror a lot of what I have experienced in my own life... I like to watch this when I feel myself starting to lose my perspective and maybe you may find it helpful too.
