Course correcting energies are in effect today. Overall, the goal here is to recognize where we have been, where we are, and where we are going (or want to end up.) This energy asks us all to take a deep look within ourselves and our lives and decide “Is this what I want?”

The easy answer is yes. And most of us will opt for that because that’s the answer that requires no work and hence no real commitment. If you say yes, then you’re either complacent or a bad liar.

But if you take another look and are really honest with yourself, then you will find something in your life that you can improve upon. In fact, this energy is going to be pointing a giant billboard-sized flashing arrow towards that very thing that you need to change in your life.

It will reveal itself through a repeated theme. A series of events will occur and all of them will result with the same conclusion. You’ll hear a word or phrase over and over: in a song, in a commercial, or a friend or relative will say it not knowing that the universe is using them as a megaphone to get to you.

The Universe will shine a spotlight right down upon what you need to change.

There are people you’d like to remove from your social circles (and perhaps family) because they don’t benefit you or add stress in your life. Perhaps, your job is less than satisfying and has been for a long while. Or your love life could use a boost. Maybe you need to start taking better care of yourself, get on an exercise regimen, and drop a set of pounds. Either way, this energy is asking you to be deadly honest with yourself and to set goals.

And this is where the fear is set in. We’ve all been there:

If we set a goal, and fail, then we’re no better off than when we started, and even worse off because we carry the feeling of failure. If we try and fail, then we’re worse off because we’re losers.

Well, I got news for you. Failing is a part of the formula to winning. You have to include failing in the equation. Consider 10:1 failure rate to win ratio (and an even higher failure rate for those especially lofty goals.) You only fail when you stop trying. You fail when you give up. You fail when you lose hope and believe that you can’t achieve. In fact, when you set your goals, expect to fail. And be proud of it when you do fail, because now you’re one more step closer to your goal. Say to yourself when you fail, “One failure down. Nine more failures to go.” This energy is the best thing that ever happened to all of us. It shakes us up. It helps jog our memories and reminds us what we were aiming for in the first place.

This energy is one that will get you worked up and annoyed. And believe me when I say this is a good thing. Most people take things in stride and ignore the things that are glaringly obvious in their lives. Don’t be one of them. You’re reading these horoscopes because you don’t want the cookie cutter, sparkly, “Your life will be glorious!” horoscopes. You’re reading this because you want the “good thing” and you’re willing to do anything good and earthly to get it. Be honest with yourself. If it’s not workin’ for ya—it’s not workin’ for ya!
