Mercury retro... Yeah, you hear the same old stories... Problems with electronics... cars... communication... (blah blah blah)... That's like saying that it gets dark at night-time... hehehe... Yes, all those things are likely to happen, but most of them happen due to people bieng distracted and trying to do too many things at one time.
The main reason Mercury goes retrograde is because there was a message or information we were supposed to hear or learn... But somehow the message was lost, missed or ignored... So the universe gives us another shot at it. These messages are super important and usually affect our live's future direction. Often these "messages" are contained in the "omens" you see happening to either yourself or others... When you see certain "themes" being repeated over & over, you can bet your ass that somehow that "theme" is going to appear in your own life very soon.
Mercury retrograde is a great time for personal experimentation too... It lets you try out new ideas, because there is so much wackyness & confusion going on out there, most of the time others aren't paying the slightest bit of attention to what you are doing... hehhee... So if you make a mistake, you can usually go back and fix/redo it... The big catch is that while the universe might even encourage the experimentation, it does not give you license to put others at risk in the process.
The biggest factor when Mercury is retro is that the mind takes on a secondary role & allows the emotions to rule the day... That's where the problems tend to appear... It can be the classic case of "good intentions" that lead to unexpected or opposite results. If you can find a way to adhere to rock-solid logic, this can be a time of golden opportunities for you. The emotions rise up because they bring with it a much more "human" quality to our lives that often gets lost in the madness of modern life... So it helps restore the proper level of balance between the mind & heart.

Getting past all the Astro-babble... The real plain simple truth of Mercury retro is the universe telling us not to take ourselves so seriously and to have some fun fercrissakes!!! Listen to the Song of the Week & tell me that isn't the voice of the "Whiners & Complainers" you hear all around you... Those who can't seem to find anything right or any form of magic & miracles in the world around them... Worry, worry, worry... Yeah, bad things happen sometimes so you try to prepare in advance as much as possible... But to live in fear & worry is blocks the connection to the Big Spirit & the flow of Divine Love into our souls... That is the core simple truth... Deal with it!!

This I can tell you with absolute certainty... Remove the negativity from your life and the world is tranformed back into the paradise it has always been. This current energy is there to help free your soul... There's not too many people left out there that remember how to play & see the potential in the way that a child's eyes can see the world... Mercury retro is the Spirit's attempt to help us to see past the dark delusions of Modern Life's fear & worry... (lock your doors... stay indoors)...
Whatever... I 'spose you can worry about the baggage retrieval system they have at London's Heathrow Airport if you want... hehehe... (actually, I thought it was pretty damn good myself!!)...

The Weekly Horoscope for Cancer
As a kid growing up & working in the truck shops, some of the old guys used to tell me when I was rushing or getting frantic & tell me to slow down... "Work a little, Smoke a Little"... (back then, smoking was fine)... hehe... Didn't understand it, but it was that ability to "pace yourself" that allowed you to go the distance and help prevent you from making all kinds of senseless blunders by allowing you to work it out in your mind before taking action.
With Mercury retrograde in your 11th House, you need to be very careful with electronics. communication or transportation... It's when the mind gets distracted major problems or danger is likely to appear. As the week goes on, the energy gets much more fun & socialable, and that makes it super easy to get distracted... The potential for love & romance is very strong, but it's not the right time to get "serious"... Slow down & take your time!!! Just have fun!!
