This weekend the planets feel like they are speaking directly to me I have a COLD. Yes in all caps!! I think it must be a man-cold from what I hear about them. Sometimes I think about calling 911 I feel so bad. Then I check my vitals and they're all perfect! (I am a nurse, so I know these things!) As a nurse (and a woman!) I know how I feel when people exaggerate their minor symptoms. But it doesn't feel like I'm exaggerating! It feels like I am at death's door! Then it subsides, just to get me off guard and come back. I've taken a few aspirin and it helps me stop thinking my headache is a stroke. I know I'll be better in a few days, but gentlemen, I have a new respect for how you suffer with your man-colds! This weekend I plan to get my "priorities straight without making life harder than it needs to be"!
This weekend is about getting your priorities straight without making life harder than it needs to be. Some people may want to move forward quickly, while others need time to step back and think. Relationships benefit from honesty, but there is no need to turn every disagreement into a major issue. Money and responsibilities deserve attention, but they shouldn't take over your entire weekend. A little rest, fun, and time away from everyday stress can help everyone start the next week feeling better. Take care of what truly needs attention, let go of what can wait, and enjoy at least one thing just for yourself.
