Tonight is my granddaughter's graduation party, the last of the graduation celebrations that went on for a month! It was a fabulous, if bittersweet time! My daughters have been crying about the time having gone so fast! And my oldest (who's own children graduated at least a decade ago) says in her best big sister voice, "I told y'all not to blink, but you didn't listen! You blinked!"

I have five kids that graduated, the youngest is now middle aged. Somehow, I expected them to grow up. But not the grandkids. I never expected this. Grandchildren are supposed to remain children! Haha! I still have 5 to go, the youngest just turned 14 so I have a few more years of being able to enjoy their school activities and I intend to take part in every one I can!

This weekend is all about slowing down enough to notice what's working and what isn't. Conversations bring helpful insights, and small adjustments can lead to big improvements later. Many people will feel pulled between getting things done and taking time to recharge. The best results come from being flexible rather than forcing plans. Relationships improve when people listen more and react less. By Sunday evening, we'll see something more clearly and what we want a better sense of than at the start of the weekend.
